I am Not a Writer

I'm just an old man who loves to tell his stories. I am writing them down now that I have more time on my hands. These are the stories I have told over the years and a few I may never have. Some of these are pretty rough.

One day, I'll go through them and clean them up.

Or not.

I have always tried to relate them as they happened, but when my buddies and I get together, we recall details differently. That's normal, but these are my stories; let them write their own.

I've often asked myself, how was a kid from Alabama able to do such things? Perhaps the Fates truly love a fool.
